War Risk Surcharge – Middle East

Taking into account recent incidents taking place in the Arabian Persian Gulf Area as well risk for situation to be escalated rapidly insurance company had to implement additional insurance ad don for all the vessels entering subject stated area.

Considering above container lines started to apply War Risk Surcharge – below stating tariffs for those carriers which already declared, while believe at this stage it is question of time other carrier to declare about subject charge as well:

* СMA CGM line USD 36 per 20′ / USD 72 per 40′;
* Maersk line USD 42 per 20′ / USD 84 per 40′;
* MSC line USD 40 per 20′ / USD 80 per 40′;

Depending on a carrier war risk surcharge to be implemented within July 05-10 and to be valid for ALL Cargo going to/from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Iraq, Oman.

Basis on above said kindly asking our customers to consider subject increases in rates while planing trade contracts.
