Ukraine railway tariff increase 29.10.2018

  Starting Nov 01, 2018 Ukraine railway plans to implement another tariff increase as per following breakdown:

* container platforms +5%;
* regular railway wagons +48%;
* grain railway hoppers +36%;

  The same time situation with Ukraine railway after export season started and cargo flows started to move became even worth then last year. Number of junction stations are overloaded and can not cope with arriving trains. As fact part of junction station been temporary closed for accepting new trains which leaded to serious delays in delivery – up to 14 days waiting at junction station for moving ahead. One of main Eastern Ukraine railway junction station “Nizhnedneprovsk” been overloaded with about 70 trains stuck waiting for almost 12 days until could move ahead again.
