Starting July 2019 new combined sea+railway solution become available for logistics delivery to/ex Ukraine.

Containership as a par of CMA CGM group opened block train service connecting Klaipeda port and Kiev – solutions which such service can offer are following:

* Declared transit time 50 hours with once a week service;
* Delivery of heavy payload containers as well reefer equipment;
* Personal operated terminal in Kiev (Brovary terminal);
* Last mile delivery (so far range declared as 27 km from Kiev city center but expected to be extended);
* Drop-off point for CMA CGM containers;

Taking into account above stated it is expected subject service to be good solution connecting Northern Europe, UK, North parts of Spain-Poland range. In case of low CMA CGM ocean rates at some point service can become also an option for import flows ex Far East.
