Ice Campaign 2019 – 22.01.2019

Traditionally within January – February months in Ukraine subject to weather conditions Ice Campaign can be announced. So far one Ukraine ports (port of Olvia) already announced Ice Campaign starting Jan 18, 2019.

So far weather conditions are not taught enough for container ports (Chornomorsk, Odessa, Yuzhniy) to declare campaign closest days while chances for it to be announced beg/mid of February are high enough. We will distribute additional advisory regarding Ice Campaign announce/Winter Surcharge in case of implementation.

Taking into account above said we recommend our import/export customers to take in mind that in case of Ice Campaign container lines reserve their right to implement additional fee for local handling in Ukraine ports which might be equal to about:

* USD 10-15/per 20′;
* USD 20-35/per 40′;

Data is stated on indication basis only. The same time for last several campaigns NO additional fees been implemented by carriers locally.
