Due to the hot summer weather, seasonal restrictions have been declared for truck traffic.

Traditionally due to hot summer weather Ukraine authority declared seasonal road restrictions for trucks to stop moving while temperature is above 28 calcium’s during day from 10 am till 10 pm. Rule is implemented for trucks with weight exceeds 24 mts – such decision should prevent failure of road conditions which in average among Ukraine still remains in very poor quality.
Part of Ukraine interstate roads sexist only “on papers” while physically are not suitable for trucks deliveries – it means that as fact for some directions truckers have to use detours with enlarged routes and as result longer/more expensive voyages. Besides above stated common all day weight restriction also valid – rule remain the same – total max weight of road train (truck + trailer + container + cargo gross weight) not to exceed 44, 880 mts which means as fact weight of cargo in container can be not higher then 24 mts (up to 25 mts for some particular type of trucks).
Unfortunately, no serious road repairing programs in Ukraine are not declared by government yet which means that significant part of cargo flow will rely on railway deliveries which also far from being perfect and has lots of issues to be solved.
Taking into account above stated facts and oil prices increase expecting that with starting agro export shipment season cost for truck deliveries will increase accordingly.
